How You Report Someone On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar at the top of the screen, key in the name of the person you intend to report, tap their name, and after that touch their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This choice is near the top of the user's web page, simply below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. Doing so brings up an additional food selection with reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet among the following alternatives in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Making believe to Be Someone option or the I Intended to Aid alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they making believe to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some even more details?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the end of the screen.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so confirms that your record was sent.
On Desktop
1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's internet browser. This will certainly open your News Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, enter the name of the person you want to report, click their name, and then click their account image. Alternatively, locate and also click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right corner of the cover photo on top of their account page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. This opens up a home window with numerous reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the complying with alternatives in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Acting to Be A person alternative or the I Intended to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they claiming to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some more details?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button remains in the bottom-right corner of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your report has actually been sent out.
