Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Delete Messages On Facebook Permanently
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon lies in the top left edge and resembles two small overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation consisting of the message or messages you intend to remove. If it is not detailed on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to check out all of your private messages. Click the discussion on that list consisting of the message you wish to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located beside the messages you intend to delete.
Click "Delete" and after that click "Delete Messages" to validate that you wish to erase the selected messages.
Idea
To delete a whole conversation instead of private messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions food selection in the third step.
Caution
Erasing an exclusive message in your Messages inbox does not remove it from the inbox of your discussion partner.
