Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Delete Messages From Facebook Permanently
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages symbol lies in the leading left corner as well as looks like two tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the discussion consisting of the message or messages you want to erase. If it is not listed on the first Messages pop-up window, click "See All" to check out every one of your personal messages. Click the discussion on that list containing the message you wish to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located beside the messages you wish to remove.
Click "Delete" and then click "Delete Messages" to validate that you want to erase the selected messages.
Suggestion
To remove a whole conversation instead of individual messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third step.
Warning
Erasing a personal message in your Messages inbox does not remove it from the inbox of your conversation companion.
