Deactivate Facebook Account Permanently
Deactivate Facebook Permanently
To Deactivate Your Account: Permanently
Deactivating your account does not completely remove it. When you deactivate your account, Facebook saves all of your settings, images, and info in case you choose to reactivate your account. Your information isn't gone-- it's just hidden. Nonetheless, it is feasible to delete your account permanently without choice for recuperation.
NOTE: You must just do this if you are absolutely sure you wish to permanently erase your Facebook account.
To delete your Facebook account, follow this link to the Delete My Account web page. If you want to save photos as well as messages from your account, click Download Info. After that click Delete Account.
To Deactivate Your Account: Temporarily (If you transform your mind).
1. Click the drop-down arrow on the toolbar, then select Setups.
2. The Settings page will appear. Click Manage Account.
3. Click Deactivate your account.
4. Select a reason for shutting down the account. If you want, you can add more information in the message box listed below. When you're done, click Deactivate.
5. Select Deactivate Currently.
6. Your account is currently deactivated. You'll have the option to reactivate your account any time by signing in to Facebook with your old account info.
